2026 Chevrolet Colorado Trim Guide

2026 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss in desert landscape.

The job site and the trail don't ask the same things from a truck, and the 2026 Chevrolet Colorado doesn't try to split the difference. Seven trim levels run from the utilitarian WT to the off-road focused ZR2, each built around a different idea of capable. Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet is here to share the full lineup.

WT

Starting with the WT, every 2026 Chevrolet Colorado is powered by the 2.7-liter TurboMax™ engine producing 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Push-button start, a digital instrument cluster, and an 11.3-inch touchscreen come standard on the WT. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, Wi-Fi® hotspot capability, and a six-speaker audio system cover connectivity, while Chevy Safety Assist adds a suite of driver assistance and safety features.

Custom

The Custom slots after the WT, adding everyday comfort. It builds on the WT with body-color exterior accents, 18-inch wheels, cloth seating upgrades, and convenience touches that make the Chevrolet Colorado easier to live with day to day while keeping the truck's work-ready bones intact.

LT

Step up to the LT and the new Chevrolet Colorado feels less like a work truck. It adds 17-inch aluminum wheels, keyless entry, remote start, heated front seats, an EZ Lift and StowFlex tailgate, and a power-adjustable driver seat. Options include a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view camera system.

Trail Boss

The Trail Boss is where the Chevrolet Colorado gets properly trail-ready. Eighteen-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, a 2-inch suspension lift, an automatic locking rear differential, a two-speed transfer case with low-range gearing, fender flares, tow hooks, and the Advanced Trailering Package all come standard.

Z71

Most of the Trail Boss hardware carries over to the Z71, minus the 2-inch lift. That makes this trim more composed on pavement without giving up four-wheel drive or rugged character. Available upgrades include driver-seat memory, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery.

ZR2

Everything changes at the ZR2. Multimatic DSSV dampers, a 3-inch lift, front and rear locking differentials, 17-inch wheels with mud-terrain tires, rocker-panel rails, unique bumpers and fender flares, and a spray-in bedliner come standard. The available Bison Edition adds AEV steel bumpers and skid plates, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, AEV wheels and fender flares, and a bed-mounted spare tire carrier.
